The SUSTAIN project with university partners conducted a meeting with Rote Ndao District Government, East Nusa Tenggara on 11-16 July 2023. The meeting had the purpose of initial meeting with Rote Ndao Regency for potential  collaboration and networking opportunities in the future. 

Furthermore, the meeting with the Rote Ndao District Government benefited the project to get access for the local communities to get data and aspiration to develop collaboration research. 

Additionally, this meeting serves as the initial gateway to introduce active citizenship value as the policy input for inclusive marine resource management The meeting was attended by 16 people from university partners and 5 people from Rote Ndao District Government, including the regent of Rote Ndao District.
