The Political Science Study Program (Dipol) at the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Undana, held a curriculum revision workshop that lasted for three days from February 9th to February 11th, 2022, at the Hotel Aston Convention Center.
This activity is supported by the Capacity Building program themed “Citizens’ Participation in Resource Governance and Sustainable Transition (CitRes)” under the international cooperation program Norwegian Program for Capacity Development in Higher Education and Research for Development II (NORHED II).
Dean of the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP) at Undana, Dr. Melkisedek NBC Neolaka, expressed that the Dipol FISIP Undana program responds to contemporary challenges by adapting them into the curriculum through periodic and regular curriculum revisions.
This curriculum revision workshop also, on a more practical level, aims to strengthen mutual relationships and cooperation with stakeholders as users of graduates from the Dipol FISIP Undana program.
Meanwhile, the Coordinator of the Political Science Study Program, Esrah DNA Benu, stated that Dipol Fisip Undana emphasizes meaningful efforts in democratizing and empowering.
He mentioned that all activities of the Tri Dharma, including the curriculum, are designed with the same fundamental tone of work, which is to democratize and empower power relations to make them productive and complementary.
“This effort is aimed at further strengthening the current and future democratic consolidation process,” he said.
